They even allowed access to Aung San. But I worry that if the protests gain momentum, and if the students and civil servants also get involved, we may see more bloodshed. The junta have a history of coming down hard on any opposition. Much like recent events in Tunisa and Egypt, social media seems to be playing an important role, despite censorship of sites like Facebook and Twitter.
